The Bayou is a compact camper which will fit the standard 8' bed pick-up truck without any rear overhang, and can be used on pick-up trucks of the "stepside" or exposed fender types. As with all Glen-L cabover campers you get a full 54" wide cabover bed forward plus full headroom and commodious storage areas. The "U" shaped dinette makes for cordial dining and forms a double bed at night. As with all Glen-L campers, folding bunks in the dinette area can be added to increase sleeping capacity. The space for the portable toilet can be made into a semi-private toilet room by using an optional curtain. The kitchen area has room for all major appliances plus a large countertop area. Feature for feature, the Bayou is equal to larger campers, yet this model is in an easily handled economical size. You can build her at a cost far less than a factory unit and with results that your friends will call "professional" when you use plans from Glen-L. |
