The Fairhaven has all facilities for
self-containment. The center dinette-side kitchen layout features a large
bathroom with room for a shower. Across the aisle is a dressing table and
lavatory. Optionally, this area could be converted to a bureau with drawers or
additional cupboard space. An optional curtain can provide privacy between the
dressing area and living area. The kitchen features plenty of room for an
icebox or refrigerator, stove with oven, and double sink with space on either
side. Generous storage spaces are provided as well as a roomy wardrobe.
Sleeping facilities are provided when the dinette is made into a double bed. A
folding bunk for two over the dinette can also be added. The main cabover bed
is "extra" sized, being larger than a standard double bed. The
Fairhaven with all its features is no more difficult to build than other Glen-L
campers. The pattern method simplifies construction, while the pictorial
instructions along with written procedural text, material listings, and
detailed large scale drawings take the builder through every phase of
construction. You'll not only end up with a professional appearing camper,
but you will save many dollars while enjoying a fascinating new hobby -
BUILDING YOUR OWN CAMPER.
