Almost ready for skin. Box is 2" taller than plans, to fit
my height. Roof is full length for length of truck bed, then angles down.
Paneling is 1/8" birch panel inside and 1/8" mahogany outside.
Cantilever is 48", so bunk does not pull out; 75" wide inside. A
heavier box.

Gentlemen:
I built this camper several years ago, after purchasing your Importer plans
package. I modified the shape to suit my size and to suit the purpose of the
box. We use it for traveling in, and not so much as a camper. I used a clear,
straight-grain 1" x 6", full length to make the centilever. A
diagonal bak to the first upright took out the smaller side windows... I
didn't want those anyway.
Ready to go. Added one leaf in rear springs and gas
shocks all around. Truck does the freeway speeds just fine - 4 cycle
motor.

Drains for water tank and sink are in the overhang on driver side as is a
single electrical corl, don't use it much, but it's there. Framing is
pretty much as shown, except that I sheeted the walls and roof, both inside and
outside. I was afraid that the cantileaver would be weak. I don't think I
could break it off now.
Even though I didn't follow your plans exactly, I'm glad that I had
them. They showed me how to do a lot of things that I was unsure about and
always had the answers for problems.
Thank you for the plans and the experience.
