Eight Ball Bill of Materials

All lumber is listed as being net in thickness and in width. Lengths allow for fitting. It is preferable to group all of the lumber and re-saw to width from random-random stock to economize. All plywood MUST be an exterior type. A marine grade, although recommended, is not listed as for a boat this type, the exterior grade with AA or even AB faces is satisfactory. All plywood may be Douglas-fir with the 1/4" three plies and the 1/2" five plies in thickness. All fastenings should be hot dipped galvanized or silicon bronze. All hardware should be bronze, aluminum or stainless steel. The light weight type of fittings are highly recommended for a boat of this type. Check ALL material listed to the text and to the drawings. This list is intended as a general guide only.
