I am the proud builder of a Glen-L 14 day sailor and a very satisfied customer with Glen-L products. The Glen-L 14 design, plans, kits and materials are of high quality and the performance of the resulting craft is outstanding.
I really enjoyed building the Glen-L 14 as the plans were very complete and easy to follow. I also picked up some good tips from your books on fiberglass and plywood boat building. The total construction time was twenty months, most of which was part time on nights and weekends. I found the various kits and optional hardware materials to be very helpful and time saving.
I am especially pleased with the performance of my Glen-L 14. It is exceptionally stable, dry, maneuverable and surprisingly fast for a 14 footer. All of the above characteristics held true with from one to four adults aboard. The bottom line is that the Glen-L 14 is an outstanding design, and a boat I will enjoy and be proud of for many years.
