Note: Mr. Hall made major changes to the cabin and to the hull topsides. These changes are not covered in the plans.

To All the Folks at Glen-L:

Please find enclosed a picture of my MINUET, a project that was most enjoyable...Construction is mahogany frames, mahogany marine ply and all trim and decks in teak....

It handles extremely well in light airs and with the sail down, performance is quite good. In normal sailing with winds of 12-14 knots, the vessel reaches 6.5 knots and 7.0 knots in the puffs, no problem. I am extremely pleased with this project. This is my third Glen-L boat (Imp #1, Topper #2) and I am of course anxious to start on a bigger one. I have purchased at least 8 plans from you and enjoy just looking them over. I think my next project will be either the A-LURE or JAMES COOK.

In closing, I wish to thank you all over the past couple of years. The therapuetic value of boatbuilding is wonderful, it is relaxing and pleasing, certainly time well spent. I will of course be in contact in the future. Thanks again for the wonderful plans and designs.

Sincerely,
Roger C. Hall
