- Hull type: Semi-displacement, hard chine hull with bulbous bow and reverse
curve at chine forward. Efficient speed range to 10 knots. Triple diagonal
cold-molded plywood or solid wood on bottom to 1 1/8" thick, and double
diagonal plywood or wood on sides to 3/4" thick, fiberglass or comparably
sheathed. "One-off" fiberglass hull construction optional.
- Power: Single diesel motor of approximately 145 continuous shaft horsepower
with suitable reduction gear. Twin motors may be used, but are not as practical
or economical, and hence not recommended.
- Can the hull be extended or shortened? Yes; Up to 10% by
re-spacing the frames from the aft end of the stem to the transom a
proportional amount. We do not recommend increasing the beam.
