As for construction details, the frames and planking are mahogany, with a black-cherry dash/cockpit. The entire boat is glued and encapsulated with the "East System" epoxy, with fiberglass cloth up to the waterline, and finished with four coats of marine varnish. Powered by a 25 HP Mercury outboard with electric start, and 10 gallon bow-mounted gas tank with Aston-Martin filler cap.(filler cap left over from one of my kit cars).
