SKI TOW by Mark Hudson, Hopkins, MN
Barry,
I did make my own windshield brackets. They are made of plywood. It took a lot of trial and error to get the angles right. The brackets were coated with epoxy tinted black. The glass is held in place with
aluminum strips (purchased at the local home center and polished) and stainless steel screws.
Unfortunately the company that cut the glass cracked it and I cracked it again putting it on. I plan to
replace the glass with plexiglass or a polymer. The entire boat is laminated with 1/8th inch mahogany.
The deck is 1/8 inch mahogany with thickened and tinted epoxy filling the spaces left between the boards.
