27 June 2011 Update

I put my boat into the water this past weekend. Next step is painting. I intended to paint it from the start but now I wish I had been neater with my building. After seeing how good it looks with just the epoxy I hate to cover it up now.

Powered it with an old Minn Kota 50 trolling motor. Bad thing was I pulled the deep cycle out of my bass boat and it weighed almost 60 pounds. Probably a little too much extra weight.

Most of my wood working experience was from Eighth Grade shop class over 30 years ago.
