26 July 2009 Update

The Tuffy is now finally on the water and is running great!

The seats and dashboard are not from the drawings. First, I wanted all four seats to point forward, and second I liked the idea of a center console where I later will replace the old throttle/gear system and mount an internal gear and throttle quadrant.

Since I rebuilt the "cockpit" area to a more racing boat look, I did not want the wood finish on my Tuffy. The blue paint with white racing stripes also helps the racing look come forward.

When the season is over I will install more electrical instruments and navigation lights. I also have some plans for some carbon fiber effects. I promise to send an update later when this is done.
