Frame is white oak, Battens completed on strong back,
applying 3/8" side planking, BS-1088 HydroTek Meranti

Transom Detail

Bow Detail, bending the side hull plywood, took quite a bit
of "coaxing"!

Plywood planking on hull completed. Working on applying
fairing compound

Jig for building the "Skeg". It took 18 pieces of
white oak to complete. I made a boring jig for the shaft hole
and drilled through each lamination as epoxy was applied. I
used West System # 655 "G-Flex" thickened epoxy and
silicon-bronze fasteners. Gougeon Brothers, makers of the
West System epoxies, were very helpful and they were always
supportive; great customer service.

Fairing completed.

The BoJest "Flippen-Party", the "snowy"
Saturday before Christmas 2009.
