Finished up the boat on the 4th of July. I was about 1 month off on my time line. The boat is complete with the exception of a cover. The only work that I sub contracted out was some work on the outboard. All upholstery, paint work etc done by myself. I also found an authentic 50's type of pinup art, had it digitized and converted to a vinyl decal. The boat is named after my dog, I need a life!!!
1957 Mark 58 A Mercury. 45 hp. runs great. I took it up to the high mountain lakes here in Colorado for it's test. It planes out really well even at 9300 ft. Not as fast as here in town but still very functional.
