BASS BOAT / Neil Gaughan / kb7c@qsl.net / 4-19-01: Completed installation of top and canted decking, including filling and sanding. All cup holders and lure trays done. installed bottoms inside of all side and front compartments. Two fuel compartments and a battery compartment aft. Live well with aerator, battery compartment and ice box built into front deck. Live well and icebox are fiberglassed. Icebox is insulated all around with foam. Several compartments built into floor boards, both aft and forward. There are 7 compartments in the aft floor alone, three along the center line in front of the aft fishing chair, and 4 across the back just in front of the aft cockpit panel. The bilge pump is under one of these, the rest are storage/inspection ports.

I have added support for three chairs, in addition to the helm chair. Fore and aft fishing chairs are anchored to the keel. The third seat is a "passenger seat" and I added support under this chair running from chine to chine. This support also runs under the helm seat. The helm chair and passenger chairs sit on two boxes, 14"x16"x8". The passenger chair will slide forward to the forward floor bulkhead. The helm station is made of 1/2" plywood with mahogany top and panel, and has one shelf.

I will have two batteries, one mounted in the aft section, just above the knee. The forward battery is blocked to the keel I also laid in flooring from the aft bulkhead panel to the transom to support two 6-gallon gas tanks.
