HI,
I actually finished my project, it runs great and handles just fine. It even turns ok without any fins. It jumps out of the water and is on a plane in no time at all. Top speed is 32mph with the Force 35 hp motor and stock prop. 0 to 32 happens in about 3-4 seconds... I think I need a little more propeller pitch so I can play with the jet skis though. I put a 6.5 gal fuel tank in the bow as far forward as possible. I had no idea how it would work out, help or hurt performance. It seems to do great, at least I'm happy with it.
