30.(1/26/02) This picture shows the 3" tape all along the center seam of the canoe. Where the bottom of the boat leveled out and the angle was not so severe, I switched and used regular 3" tape. This tape has a raised ridge along one side that will have to be sanded/scraped to feather it into the bottom of the boat.

31.(1/27/02) This picture shows the center seam as well as the two Chine seams all taped with the 3" tape. I found it easiest to smooth the tape out by using my fingers ( with gloves ) as I could push excess resin out from under the cloth so it wouldn't float in the resin. It also makes it easier to totally saturate the cloth without snagging it on the spatula.

32.(2/10/02) This Picture shows the 3" tape all sanded and feathered into the plywood hull.

33.(2/10/02) This Picture shows the 6" tape laid out on the seams.
