The Rob Roy as built by
Larry "Rehd" Brown, Fresno, Calif

45.(2/25/02) One side finished sanding and starting on the other.

46.(2/25/02) Hull is completely sanded with 100 grit and then again with 150. The 100 was using a fairing board and the 150 was using the R.O.S.

47.(2/25/02) If you look closely at the area below (or rather above) the end of the chine seam you will see where I got a little ambitious and sanded through the 3.25 oz. glass layer trying to work around this area. I may apply a thin coat of epoxy before the varnish layer is applied, but then I don't think it is neccessary as there are two layers of 6oz. cloth under that area (3" and 6" tape).

Sorry about all of the delays... lots of Over-Time. Will be getting more time to work on it and finish it finally...

48.(5/24/02) Boat is sanded inside and ready to tape bulkhead joints.
