The sky looks darker. The earth is still wet from last night's shower. The confidence of owner and crane's operator solid like a rock. With Name Of The God of Mercy ...up, up, up you go!

The Lifting Frame was fabricated 2 months back next to Vigilant. Buying scrap H-Beam from Scrap Yard. Calculate length and load divided into four hanging section. For Safety sake and future utilization, purchase 8 tons each of Belt Sling x 52 ft length x 4 Slings. The actual weight of Vigilant by calculation is 2.75 Tons. This calculation prooved correct by Crane's operator during lifting process. So light eh?

Glen-L Vigilant with LOA - 42.5 ft, LWL - 38.5 ft, Beam Width - 15.5 ft, Draft - 4.75 ft.
The lifting job done and all Working Frames used to support the Vigilant during construction are removed. At present the Vigilant is sitting on 9 12" x 8" x 3 ft pieces of supporting lumber.

Thinking deep, what next? Rolling over the Vigilant to the upright position without slight "injuries" to her and doing the process safely by the owner and crane's operator.
Coming soon: Semi-round Wooden Ring on the Glen-L Vigilant and the Roll Over process!
