From the photo you can see the bare plywood which distinguishes keel, 3' extension on back of boat (making it 18'), and a 7" high strake added all the way around.

I've been playing around with AutoCad trying to come up with something I can do with it. The keel has got to go, think I'd like to make it into a little beach cruiser with maximum sleeping area in a little cabin, hence leeboards and hinged rudder (ala Herreshoff). Sail arrangement I borrowed from the old canoe yawl "Iris" because I like the way it looks. I've never built a boat before, so would appreciate any input from anyone about anything. All I've done is cover it with a tarp and had a trailer hitch installed on my old Subaru so I can get it home.
