This fine sailing vessel was meticulously hand crafted by my father in-law, a master craftsman/woodworker, over a period of about 15 years based upon the plans you will find at the Glen L site. The Hull was formed through cold-mold construction using laminated mahogony over cedar. The keel has been upgraded to a wing balast design which allows for shoal draft maneuverability coupled with stability and safety. Accomodations include honest-sized berthing for three, cabin seating for four, space for a head (which can be curtained off for privacy), galley facilities, and a huge hanging locker. The cockpit is roomy and comfortable, as well as being convenient for handling the rig. Power is provided by a 5hp briggs and stratton outboard mounted on a transom bracket in the conventional manner. Superior perfomance is assured by a generous spread of canvas. Built with one off methods, the sailboat will far exceed the quality of mass-produced boats.
