Dear Sir:
I have enclosed a couple of pictures of my daughter Teresa, 10 years of age, in boats I have built from your designs. I changed to an electric fishing motor, which drives the boat about the speed of a sailboat.
I have dressed up the boat by making the top of 3/4 inch wood with real chrome valve covers, carburetors, chrome wire looms, tail pipe extensions, also chrome air cleaners. This of course adds to the appeal of the boat and has attracted much attention from local boat owners and children. These boats were also in the auto show.

There is no packing gland. The water pipe goes through the bottom of the boat, up above the waterline and the trolling motor goes through the pipe.
