Fig. 38 - The decking is relatively simple to apply. Several deck layout options are given in the instructions and drawings. The decking is nailed in place after the mating members are thoroughly coated with glue. Notice that the inside of the hull has been painted. It is best to paint or varnish the bilge and under-deck areas while they are easily accessable. Do not paint areas that will have glue applied to them.
