Minuet Frame Kit
Frame pieces and gussets ready for assembly. The pile in the foreground several others have the plywood master template on top. The mahogany frame pieces are initially cut oversize from mahogany lumber. The master template is then tacked on each piece and it is shaped to the finished size. The frames will be assembled in jigs to insure exact alignment.
Transom framing
Transom framing with stem pieces ready for assembly.
Stem: One half of stem is cut to finished contour on the shaper, the second half is oversize. After assembly, the stem will be run back through the shaper and the oversize piece shaped to match the first half. The pieces in the lower right are two parts of the breasthook waiting for initial assembly.
