Squirt with Jet Power

This shows the gas pedal I used. It is from a hot rod and can be bought for about $40. I make a bracket so it would sit at the proper angle. I liked this style for it would adapt easy to the stock throttle cable.

This view shows the motor beds and stock mounts along with the half frame that I added. It worked out that this frame was perfect to mount the whip strut on and it also was great for mounting the fuel tank and electrical box.

Here is a close up of the whip strut that I needed when I decided to put the Kawasaki engine into the Sea Doo pump bed. The Kawasaki shaft spline to the impeller is the same as the Sea Doo but the "love Joy" style coupler to the motor is different. In order to make the shaft stable and run true I needed this block of wood attached to the frame to act as the whip strut.

Here it is all decked with Derek standing ready to help flip it over.

The front view. Note the rounded chines and the recess for the flip-up bow light. Note that I matched the grain of the plywood where ever I could.
