Fig 28: The beams at the dash and one just forward use the same arc as the #5 deck beam. Battens and strongback are notched into deck beams as shown.
Fig 29: The forward decking is fitted to butt to the side decking and fit into a rabbet in the coaming. The standard 4' panel will be butt joined over the batten to make the full width.
Fig 30: The area along the sheer, particularly at the stem, is generously radiused when the hull is to be fiberglass covered.
