Hi Mark,
wow - thanks for responding. I've actually tracked over to Glen L from Ken Hankinson soley due to your website and the work you have posted about your boat. It really does look like a fantastic craft.
As I understand it, the Monte Carlo is a new design and am keen to find out if its up to the standard of your Riviera in terms buildability and (post build!)water use. I don't have your knowlege of woodwork, and would be interested to hear from some amatuers as to how they found it to construct.
thanks again for your response - it'd be great if you are able to shed any more light on the Monte Carlo.
Kind regards
Colin
: Your questions may very well apply to Riviera and Monacos as well. The 3 boats are quite similar in concept. Why not try them on the larger group?
: From what I saw of the plans, the overall construction will be very similar to that of the Riviera , but with some extra work at the stern to handle the greater curvature of the barrelback. Doing the planking near the tops of the sides near the transom was the hardest part of the hull on the Riviera.
