An excellent point about leaving the boat in the water. My first boat is a Console Skiff and is on the trailer 99.99999% of the time, so I used latex inside and out. My second boat now under construction (a Gypsy designed by--who else?--Glen-L), being a houseboat, will be trailered as well, but will be in the water more (overnight, weekends, etc.), and I will not use latex on her (at least below the waterline).
