I read that you cannot use plastic resin glue for oak in saltwater, something about acid in oak. Then I read in a different book, (David Gerr-Elements of Boat strength) that oak builds acid with epoxy glue in saltwater. Well, if you cannot use plastic resin, nor epoxy, then what is a guy to do?
