I removed my building form the other day and test fit the long beams against the bottom battens. It looks like in order for them to fit snug against the battens, I'll have to shave about 1/4 to 3/8 inch off of the forward foot or so of the bottom curved edges. I just wondered if adjustments like this are common or might doing this screw something else up (like fitting the forward decking later)? I can make them almost fit like they are if I push down really hard but that seems to warp the bottom and put the beams under a lot of stress.
