Width on Interstate highways without a special permit: 8 1/2'. Beyond that, it is up to the states. Most states max width is 8 1/2', but there are about 8 states that are still 8'.
In most states it is possible to trailer wider loads with special permits. Some rather involved, others simple. Check with your state authority.
