It is probably this wax that i am seeing. If i wipe the surface down with acetone i can remove it and the surface is hard below. Now that i am installing the cloth i dont seem to have this happening, it was only on the bare plywood.
As far as mixing i was adding 12 drops of hardener to 1 OZ of resin. As i stirred it it changed from pink to a green/brown colour. After about 5-6 minutes it seemed to be changing back to the pink colour, although it felt like it was getting stickier.
