Plywood that would be good quality for boat building and yet could be purchased at your local lumber yard would be plywood flooring. Many of these sheets are five ply and come in various thicknesses from 1/4" to 3/4". It is moderately priced and doesn't appear to be much more expensive than regular plywood.

: As many of you know, it is not always easy to find boatbuilding plywood and lumber. In the Useful Information & Suppliers section of the Glen-L web site there is a List of Lumber Suppliers. This list is primarily the result of builder input. It only gets corrected when someone reports that change is needed.
