I didn't mean to say that people are making a poor choice when placing their faith in plywood alone. It's just a personal thing, I feel better with the fasteners there. Even though the epoxy is probably more than you'll ever need.

Most of them use the same brand and grade of marine ply that I used, from the same supplier. Without their recommendation my decision may have been different, but I figure if that's how the professionals do it then who am I to argue?
