If you plan on using the jet pump as propulsion, it's no problem at all! I'm more familiar with Kawasaki's Jet ski's that the Seadoo, but I'm sure they have things in common. The way the Jet ski get's it's water for cooling is simply a hole in the pump casing. As pressure builds up from the impellor in the pump, it pushes water through the system. If you were looking to put a direct drive unit on there, you would need some mechanical pump or electric pump to send water through the system. I'm thinking of dooing the same with plans for a different boat usning a Jet Ski motor (650cc). I'd like to know your ideas on this and how you plan on attacking this project.
