I would say yes they are definately worth it.
I live in Ireland so it is too far to get a frame kit shipped over...and when i bought the equivalent timber over here, it cost me 315...and thats without cutting it all out and putting it together...and the glen-l frame kit is something like 295 all finished! Its my first boat build too, but its not rocket science if you want to do your own frames...just takes some extra time..
: I noticed the Mist Miss has a frame kit offered. I am sure this will save some time, but is it worth the purchase price? By the way this will be my first boat build.
