I also would recomend the frame kit for this project. I am also currently building a Mist Miss. In my area (columbus ohio) there are very few options as far as getting good wood and the extra cost for assembled frames would have worth it due to the associated costs of epoxy/plywood gussets plus the actual cost of getting wood here. I am almost finished with the covering of the hull and would be happy to send you some pics or let you know at what steps I had trouble. For the next project I will take advantage the frame kit.
