I rode a factory built Catamaran at the boat show. It did ride smooth in the chop and was stable due to the wide width. But,,,up on plane and in the turns it felt odd to me, felt like it should chine trip. It doesnt chine trip at all, it just turns dead flat, even up to speed. I didnt see much storage space on this one, this was twin sterndrives and all the bilges were used up for engines/tanks/ etc., etc. The deck space was large though.
