We have seen alot of this nida core in boats that come into our shop. Only thing i dont like about it is it compresses when thru bolted and wont hold a screw to save your life so we have to cast plywood blanks or aluminum plate wherever hardware, T-tops, sight fishing towers, poling platforms. In one model they use aluminum plate and it is glassed in and we drill and tap it for the 1/4x20 hardware used to mount these items if you have access to the backside you can thru bolt it and use backing plates and be sure to not over tighten.
