Careful now, engines have directional oil passages in the crank basedon rotation direction. crank seals also have directional grooves. If you get a new crank and seals, everything else can stay the same because you switch from a chain drive cam to a gear drive cam. which means opposite rotation for the cam, meaning you have changed crank rotation but because of gear drive the cam rotation direction stays as was before. regards, mitchell in CT
