The Pee Wee is a nice little boat, and I think you'll enjoy it very much. My concern is that you might grow out of it within a couple of years.
My other concern is that you don't sound like you really have the support of your parents for doing this. Building a boat is a commitment. Even for a small boat, it takes time, effort, and space. Are your parents going to support you in this? If not, then you will probably end up being extremely frustrated, wasting a lot of time and money, and not finish the boat in the end.
On the other hand, if your parents are supportive of this project, then I would suggest a boat that they could enjoy with you. Perhaps a Zip, or something similar--a little larger than a Pee Wee.
