I ordered the quick build kit for the 10 foot Super Spartan last January, thinking it was going to be a breeze. I've since found that even the quick build kits require alot of work and money. Im a marine mechanic and rebuilt a 1976 Evinrude 35hp last fall to power the little sucker. To this day, its sitting on saw horses in my garage waiting for its final cote of paint. The advice I offer is it's not your age thats important, its the time and patience you plan to invest in your project. I work full time, so I can only manage a few hours a week to complete the project. With a little time and patience, im sure you can complete your project... oh yeah, and ask for advice if you get stuck. That's key.
