I have purchased Khaya mahogany strips to finish my TwoPus plywood hull. My vendor has advised me to stain the mahogany despite its already fine finish/color. According to him the mahogany will loose color over time.Does anybody know anything about this subject? I will of course encapsulate everything in epoxy and use polyourethane varnish.
