Some years ago we used a motorcycle engine to build an small air boat. Plenty of guts to turn the prop and give some of the big V8 boats a run for their money. It was also small enough to fit far astern giving us a lot of deck for duck hunting and fishing. Might be interesting to use a water cooled motorcycle engine (keeping the transmission, as we did) as an inboard in a small boat like the Squirt.

: I read in boatbuilder about using briggs and stratton type motors for source of inboard power. Captain Woodie Owen claims you can use readily available parts to achieve this. Is anyone interested? Would anyone try this approach? Interested to hear some thoughts.
