I am using western red cedar for rear seats and helm station on cabin skiff. It's very soft, so I used 6oz. cloth to help the impact resistance buttttt... I just can't seem to prevent these dimples and pimples showing up after cure! It wasn't a problem with the rest of the boat because I just sanded lightly and painted.I intend to varnish these parts and suspect that the defects will likely show through.. any suggestions?
