Some years ago I got interested in fancy painting
of cars. I had a borrowed a book which gave a lot
of interesting techniques. I remember that metal-
flake (as opposed to metallic) was described as a
very time-consuming job requiring a lot of skill.
I expect that repair would be equally difficult,
and should probably be left to experts.
Ask around at auto-body shops to see who the experts
are. If you see a shop that always has several
Corvettes parked outside, they are probably experts!
