I am in the process of rebuilding a 3 cyl Kubota Diesel.
Excellent motor, but quite expensive to repair. A good choice,
but cooling the engine and exhaust wil require some thought.
Previous suggestion of hydraulic drive to be considered as the
engine probably has a pump already on it. However, you should enjoy
oil and hoses should you choose this route, otherwise, couple directly
to a marine transmission.
