I am currently finishing my Audeen. I have in the range of 600-700 hours in it. The boat is constructed with white oak frames and fir plywood sheeting. The entire hull has been fiberglassed with 10 oz. fabric and epoxy. The top deck is Mahogany veneer. The propsed engine is an early 318 Chrysler out of an old Correct Craft. I hope to turn 4500 rpm with a 12"x15" prop. I would like to get 50 mph but would porbably very seldem go that fast. Every thing has gone together farily well and looks good with the exception of some of the veneer which I sanded through (any suggestions?). My goal is to set on the trailer in a week or so, finish the interior by end of May, and launch on Memorial Day week end.
