This is concerning the Pop-up message that came up when accessing this board. The Pop-up was the result of a message posted on the board in answer to an older entry. There was no real message, just a link that caused the Pop-up.
The Pop-up was for Sterndirves.com. I went to their board and posted the following message under the title "I consider this site to be unethical"... kinda weak I guess, but it was all I could come up with at the time:
I am webMASTER for Glen-l.com. Someone for this organization put a link on our Bulletin Board that caused a pop-up message for Sterndrives.com to appear every time someone accessed our board. They might consider this legitimate marketing, I do not. Several of our visitors have posted messages that indicated that they may not return. I am sure that the visitors to this site are just as concerned about unwanted pop-ups, if so, I hope you will express your displeasure to this organization.
