: I just finished removing the polyester resin and fiberglass from one of my wood cones. I would suggest that you not use and kind of remover at all. You will likely stain the wood and you will probably not like the results. When I refinished my wood strip canoe made with redwood I started by removing the rails and gunwales. I was then able to peel a small bit of the glass cloth off the wood and slowly and carefully peel a big sheet of the glass and polyester right off the hull. You then have a large edge to begin peeling more strips of glass off. It took me about 20 minutes to peel all the hull. After you have peeled all the cloth off the boat you will need to sand the hull down with a good random orbit sander before re-glassing with epoxy. This part took me about 8 hours. good luck
