On my Console Skiff, I have "assigned" a capacity of five persons. I used the "rule of thumb" formula I have seen in several different places:
Length X Width/15 = number of persons you can have aboard. The length and width are both expressed in feet. If you use the metric system up there, I think you'd have to convert. My math is as follows: 16' X 6'/15=6.4 I rounded WAY down to five for safety's sake. I've had four people in the boat, and that really felt like a boatload.
